Here we are basking in the glory of summer (whilst listening to a weather report talking about snow) and I have to start talking about winter!
Plans are being made for our winter concert which will in fact be a Christmas concert. As it is Benjamin Britten's centenary we shall be tackling his fabulous Ceremony of Carols along with a selection of lighter seasonal favourites. The venue is yet to be confirmed, but we are currently looking at a date of the 14th of December. Once we have confirmation of venue and date I shall let everyone know.
Rehearsals shall start on August the 22nd. Looking forward to seeing you all there!

P.S. I am making plans for May too! My hope is that it shall be on May 3rd where we will be singing Rossini's Petite messe solennelle.
