Scotland Sings

Harmony Singing Workshop with Christine Kydd & Fiona Mackenzie

Saturday 24th January 2015 – 11am-5pm

Scotland Sings is all about getting everyone singing – any style, anywhere. In schools, choirs, workshops, round kitchen tables, in pubs and clubs, in the hills and on the street!

Come along and join in our exciting new January harmony singing workshops: Renewing the Tradition - brand new choir repertoire of fresh contemporary arrangements seeded by some of Scotland’s best-loved Burns and Gaelic songs

Scotland Sings has commissioned songwriters Kim Edgar and Findlay Napier to take a Robert Burns song and rewrite it into a modern version. These songs I WIll not Say Goodbye and Petals of a Red, Red Rose will be taught at the workshop.

This workshop is open to choirs and individual singers alike. The cost for the day is £10 per person with a free place offered when you make a group booking of 10 places (just book 10 places with 1 contact name then bring your extra person on the day). To book, go to https://scotlandsings-dingwall.eventbrite.co.uk

Tea and coffee will available from 10.30am.
